As Calgary’s oldest independent optical store, Chinook Optical can obtain a wide variety of lenses + frames.
All of our staff are licensed Opticians or doctors of Optometry & are able to deal with difficult prescriptions and unusual situations.
We are dedicated to providing high quality health care service to all members of our community.
We are proud to continue a tradition of excellence through all of our specialized services including: difficult prescriptions, safety frames, Rx lenses, clip-ons, Rx swim goggles, magnifying glasses, fitovers, tinting, edging, repairs, adjustments, etc.
We offer services in English, Spanish and very broken French.
Eye Exams + Contact Lenses
Available services with our optometrist, Dr. Nicole Madden, include: comprehensive eye exams, laser surgery consultation, referrals, cataract evaluation, glaucoma evaluation, post-surgical followups, comprehensive contact lens care, evaluation and fittings.
Recycle
We have partnered with ‘Recycle For Sight’,
an organization that takes old frames and glasses to be recycled and ‘upcycled’ for distribution to people in need.
